In 2020 a $13,900 Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) seed grant funded Banyan’s ‘Coordinated Food Access Hubs’ program which has been successful in delivering food to 45 seniors, improving their food security and reducing social isolation through improved connections.

In October 2020, Banyan Community Services was pleased to receive a $13,900 Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant that will allow us to engage and serve at-risk seniors who lack resources to maintain a nutritious diet. The “Coordinated Food Access Hubs” program aims to provide food deliveries to seniors to improve their food security and reduce social isolation through improved connections.
